DUCKRO, George B., age 77, of 2160 Martin Avenue, Dayton, Ohio passed away on Monday, October 14, 1985. He was retired from WPAFB, member of D.A.V. and American Legion Post #95. Preceded in death by his brother, Edward in 1981. Survived by his wife, Luella L. (Syx); two daughters, Mrs. Wilburn (Phyllis Jean) Scarbro, Mrs. Howard (Joan) Thaxton both of Dayton; three sisters, Mrs. Albert (Edna) Johnson of Kettering, Mrs Walter (Patricia) Gype of Dayton, Mrs. John ( Mildred) Sobleski of New Mexico; a brother, Robert E. Duckro of Dayton; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Services 11 a.m. Friday, October 18th, 1985 at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Avenue. Father Joseph C. Heskamp officiating. Burial, Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 p.m.
