Her visitation will be Sunday afternoon, November 27, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner. Interment will follow at a later date in the Rehoboth United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Promedica Hospice, 7410 Northside Dr., Suite 250, N. Charleston, SC 29420.
Mrs. Miller was born September 7, 1939, in Portsmouth, OH, a daughter of C. Blease Dennis and Betty Crabtree Dennis. She was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church and was a graduate of Berkeley High School. Mrs. Miller was a retired paralegal who worked for various law firms throughout her career including, Dennis & Dennis, Grover C. Seaton, III, Attorney at Law, and the Honorable Jack A. Landis. She was also a member of numerous organizations such as the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Daughters of the Nile. Mrs. Miller enjoyed evening golf cart rides around Bonneau Beach, helping others, and spending time with her family and friends. She was the widow of David Lloyd Miller.
Surviving are her daughter, Valerie J. Bishop and her husband, Jay, of Bonneau Beach; her son, David B. Johnson and his girlfriend, Ashley Grice, of Bonneau; a brother, William H. "Billy" Dennis of Bamberg; four grandchildren, Summer Owens, Tyler Bishop, Will Johnson, and Madelyn Johnson; five great grandchildren, Talitha Owens, Haddon Owens, Alethia Owens, Ryland Bishop, and Riverlynn Johnson.
