Born at Princeton, WV, she was a daughter of the late Josephus and Maryetta (Bruce) Belcher (incorrectly shown as Evra and Elizabeth) and was the widow of Emmett W. Abell. Mrs. Abell was a member of the Centre Street United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
Surviving are a son, E. W. (Jack) Abell, La Vale, two daughters, Mrs. Orrie Sensabaugh, La Vale, and Mrs. Howard Carolan, Monroe, NC; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie L. Croy, Princeton and Mrs. Maude Otey, Stevensville, AL; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The body is at the Kight Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 pm.
Services will be conducted there tomorrow at 1 pm by Rev. F. Blaine Rinker. Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park.
