Cranky was a feral cat that chose me to be her caregiver. She was a very smart kitty girl and, although she was feral, she was very loyal. Poor little thing must have been abused because she was terrified most of her life of people getting too close to her (and I tried every day!). The last couple of years, she let her guard down a little bit. If I was outside, she would be close by. I felt honored that she chose me to take care of her. I miss her very much.
