Jerri Lynn Horton, 68 of Big Stone Gap, VA. went to her Heavenly Home on December 1, 2022 at Pikeville Medical Center.
She was a lifelong resident of Big Stone Gap, VA. Jerri was of the Baptist Faith.
Jerri was preceded in death by her parents Oakley and Reable (Russell) Holcomb, her brother James Holcomb and her only Granddaughter Julie Owens.
Jerri is survived by her loving husband of 51 years David Horton, sons David Horton Jr. and wife Tracey, Todd Horton and wife Samantha, and daughter Misty Brown all of Big Stone Gap, VA. Grandsons Bryan Horton Pikeville Ky., David Horton III, Erek Horton, Nickolas Horton, Jesse Horton, Jacob Horton and Anthony Owens all of Big Stone Gap Va. Great Grandchildren Thalan, Sophia, Daxton, Saydee and Marlie. All of which were Mummum's babies. Brothers Johnnie Holcomb, Elmer Holcomb both of Big Stone Gap, Va. Sister Myrna Neeley Big Stone Gap, Va. Special niece Anita Holcomb. Several nieces, nephews and close friends.
Pallbearers will include Nickolas Horton, Erek Horton, Billy Stanley, Chris Rogers, C. O. Lambert, and Jimmy Serrac.
There will be a graveside service on Monday December 5, 2022 at 12 p.m. at American Legion Cemetery in Big Stone Gap, Va.
The family is asked to meet at Roy A. Green funeral home, Appalachia VA. at 11:30 a.m. to go in procession to the graveside service.
