He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, and his siblings, Winnie, Vernon, Irene, Kenneth, Vera, Bernice, Darrell, Robert, and Norma.
His funeral was held at the United Methodist Church in Redfield. Burial was in Altoona Cemetery near Hitchcock.
