Because of her popularity in Argentina, she became known as "Ms. Television" in Argentina. She was also a stage actress in several production like "Two Women," "The Vagina Monologues," and "The Prisoner of Second Avenue." She was awarded the Martín Fierro Award for Broadcasting Excellence in 2006. She had been married to actor and singer Raúl Lavié (1965-1974) with whom she had two sons.
