"Red" Aaron died when the Armored Personnel Carrier he was driving hit a mine near a stream crossing west of Ap Lam-An in Binh Thuan Province.

A resident of Forge Village MA, he was the son of Harry J. and Anna Aaron.

Besides his parents, a sister and a brother survived.

Sp. 4 Aaron attended the Westford schools and was graduated from Westford Academy with the Class of 1967.
