Mrs. Delilah Hayslip, wife of D. F. Hayslip, died at her residence, No. 69 Washington street, Schoolfield, this morning at four o'clock in the fifty-first year of her life, the major portion of which time she has been confined to her bed, her affliction being borne with patience and fortitude. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons and one daughter, Glenn and Otis Hayslip, and Miss Vane Hayslip. Also her mother, Mrs. Mary Hatcher, and four sisters, Mrs. W. L. Weadon, Mrs. Harry De Long, Mrs. Joseph Hilliard, all of Schoolfield, and Mrs. J. P. Heard,(Hurd) of Blacksburg, Va. The funeral services will be conducted from the home tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon at three o'clock by Eldet J. F. Spangler, and interment will be in Green Hill cemetery.
