Peter P. Boyer, 83, Walnut Street, Quentin, died last night at his residence. He was the husband of the late Alma M. Blough, who died in November, 1973. Born in Cornwall, he was the son of the late Peter P. and Mary Preis Boyer. A World War I veteran, he was a member of Cornwall United Methodist Church and a retired hoist operator for the Bethlehem-Cornwall Mines. He is survived by three daughters, Doris, wife of Harold H. Light, Hightstown, N.J.; Alice, wife of the Rev. Thomas Grubbs, San Mateo, Calif.; and Ethel, wife of John Binner, Lebanon; four sons, Peter P. Jr., Mt. Gretna; Paul J., Quentin; Allen C., Lebanon; James D., Lebanon; a brother, Samuel P. Boyer, Catasauqua, Pa.; 22 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
