BOYD - Annie Pearl Peel of Boyd, a homemaker and longtime Wise County resident, died Thursday at a Decatur hospital. She was 91.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Christian Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Wise County.

Mrs. Peel was born in Parker County and had lived in Wise County most of her life. She was a member of a quilting club, and the Baptist church in the Keeter community.

Survivors: Five sons, Willard Peel of Bridgeport, Loyd Peel of Arlington, Arbil Peel and Marvin Peel, both of Fort Worth, and Harvey Peel of Azle; four daughters, Velma Shaddy of Lake Worth, Ola Taylor of Boyd, Lola Harwell of Joshua and Lois Coleman of Weatherford; three sisters, Della Vess and Ima Vess, both of Boyd, and Mary Peel of Decatur; 24 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
