Mar y Susan Wright was born on the fourteenth day of January in 1863 being the first child of Charles and Orpha Wright (nee Maysilles). Mary Susan was born in Funkstown, Maryland which was the town named after her ancestor Jacob Funk. In 1871 her parents, two brothers and herself emigrated to Preble County, Ohio. On the 4t of September in 1887 at Preble County, Ohio she married David K. Miller. To this union 5 girls were born, Orpha 1888, Rilla 1890, Anna 1893 (whom perished in 1894), Lela 1895 and Letha 1895. Sadly on the 8th of September in 1900 she perished at her home in West Alexandria, Ohio at 37 years, 7 and months, and 25 days.
