McLouth - Lila M. VanDruff, 89, McLouth, died Wednesday, April 14, 1993, at an Oskaloosa nursing home.
She was born Feb. 5, 1904, at McLouth, the daughter of Jacob and Margaret Baker Shrader. She lived in the McLouth community until she moved to Salina in 1965. She left Salina in 1990.
She was married to Grover C. VanDruff in 1922 in McLouth. He died in 1991.
Survivors include two daughters, Esther McAfee, Dewey, Okla., and Alberta Miller, Salina; four sons, Gerald VanDruff, Los Angeles, Marlin VanDruff, McLouth and David VanDruff and Larry VanDruff, both of Basehor; a brother, Chester Shrader, McLouth; 28 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church in McLouth. Burial will be in Wild Horse Cemetery at McLouth. Family and friends will meet from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Friday at Hampton-Barrett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa where memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
