Veronica was born December 18, 1943, to Gervase and Eunice (Foerster) Devine. She graduated from Manvel High School in 1961, the last class to graduate high school from Manvel. She graduated from hair designer school and worked as a hair dresser for several years. She married Roger Stadstad on September 20, 1965. She later worked at the Manvel School during the summer, and the Manvel Coop. She loved Yankee's baseball, Fighting Sioux hockey, and Nascar.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Steve "Gene" Devine, Gary Devine, and Gerald "Turk" Devine.
