SMALL CHILD DIES

Appendictis Fatal to Infant Son of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Walker

Henry Wayne Walker, small son of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Walker, passed away Thursday at the hospital following a short illness. The little fellow had only recently recovered from an attack of measles when he was stricken with appendicitis. An operation was performed but it proved of no avail as the appendix had ruptured and the poison spread over his body.

Henry Wayne, was nearly two years old at the time of his death, being born Feb. 3, 1930. He leaves his mother and father, his two brothers and one sister, his grandparents and many other relatives to mourn his early passing. He was a lovable, sturdy little figure and will be sadly missed in the home. He attended the Methodist Sunday School and had made a circle of friends there.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Bower chapel with Rev. G.E. Pennell in charge. Burial was made in the Goodland cemetery.
