Mr. James Bernard Arbogast, age 73, a resident of Belington, departed this life on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at his residence. He had been in declining health however death was unexpected. He was born February 15, 1943 at Randolph County, a son of the late Glen Oliver and Lillie Ryan Arbogast.

Mr. Arbogast attended the schools of Randolph County, was a self-employed carpenter and later was employed by A.G. VanMeter Construction in Virginia. In his healthier days he was an avid hunter and fisherman, he loved is family, and was a Christian by faith.

Friends will be received from the Talbott Funeral Home 56 North Brandenburg Street in Belington on Monday June 13, 2016 from 10 am to1 pm the funeral hour when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jimmie E. Tallman officiating. Interment will follow in the Lower Rowan Cemetery at Mabie. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.talbottfuneralhome.com.
