He is the son of Emma and Ralph Hodgson, born Oct 23 1963 Rupert, Minidoka,Idaho
In Nov 1963,his 1/2 sisters, Margaret ,Darlene, Gloria, Emily,Mickelson and his self Ralph Paul was removed from their MOM EMMA'S HOUSE, and turned over to the welfare system.
Ralph Paul Hodgson was adopted to Vernon and Florence (Donaldson) Vance in Caldwell,Idaho, at the age of 18 month's.Ralph Paul Name was Changed to Stephen Ray Vance,
He did use the name Steve.
Stephen married Jacquelyn R. (Hemmerly) Vance, January 24, 1996 in Fostoria, OH. He was a 1981 graduate of Hood River High School. Stephen served four years in the United States Air Force as a Specialty Fireman and one year in United States Marine Corps. He was a member of Victory Christian Fellowship.
He is survived by his parents, wife, Jacquelyn Vance; sons, Noah Vance, Monroe, LA, Donnie Peace Jr., Fostoria, OH, and Kevin Peace, Temple, TX and daughter, Jennifer Peace, Fostoria, OH; sisters, Patricia Willis, Michele Vanhoff, Darlene Fischer, Margaret Courter, Glorie Ann Smith and Emily Mae all of ID and eight grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two sisters.
Arrangements were made with Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home & Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH Visitation: Tuesday, June 12, 2007 from 9:00 am until the time of service at Victory Christian Fellowship, 2051 Oak Harbor Road, Fremont, OH. Services: Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 10:30 am at the Church with Pastor Scott Robles officiating with military honors provided by the American Legion and the VFW. Memorials: To the Church.
