musician, pianist, immigrant. Born in China in a family of Russian immigrants. Graduated from high school in Harbin. Studied music in Vienna and Berlin. He gave solo concerts in China. Laureate of the North China Composers Competition (1944). After World War II he moved to the USSR. In 1973 he was able to leave for Holland, but did not return to the USSR. Later he lived in the USA, in San Francisco. He taught at his private music school. Died in San Francisco.
