Jeanette was the definition of Humanity; she gave so much, to so many, with what little she had. She gave herself to help raise her siblings. Was a good wife to Louis for 67 years during the good years and through his decline; they will continue to celebrate every Christmas together since 1955. She was proud to be Mother of 6 boys, who always challenged her; but she was strong and nurtured them. Jeanette watched her grandchildren and many neighbor kids for many years; thereby, developing life-long motherly bonds that are strong still. She loved her neighbors and they loved her back. Lastly, she developed many friends in past 25-years through the Manitowoc Red Hatters social club, you helped her more than you could ever imagine in her most senior years, when she was in need. Thank you, Red Hatters! Mom emboldened humanity with her compassionate, sympathetic, and generous behavior, she will be missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home (928 S. 14th Street, Manitowoc). Burial of her cremated remains will take place later at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 PM until the time of services at 5:00 PM. Following the Memorial Service relatives and friends are invited to the Four Seasons Restaurant, 3950 Calumet Ave., Manitowoc, for continued fellowship and lunch.
