82, of Springhill, passed away quietly at home in the company of his beloved wife of 61 years, Elizabeth 'Bessie' Snair, and his buddy Harry the cat, on Saturday, October 15, 2011. Born in Black Point, he was a son of the late Hazen and Dorothy (Brigley) Snair. Gordon worked in the well drilling in­dustry for over 45 years. During his retirement he enjoyed woodworking, spending time with his family, playing cards and volunteering for the CACL Donald House in Amherst. Gordon will be sadly missed by his wife, Bessie; sons, Wayne (Gayle), Brian, Danny (Bonnie); daughter, Mary Snair-Albright; grandchildren, Kelly, Debra, Kim, Rispa, Dana, Paula, Jeremy, Nicole, Richard, Jill, Daniel, Josh and Jade; five great-grandchil­dren; brothers, Roy, Clark, Keith, Junior, Bobby and Donnie as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sons, Frank, Paul, Michael and Shane; brothers, Arnold and Murray and sister, Beulah, as well as special son-in-law, Bill.
