Born October 11, 1986 in Amherst, OH he had been a Kearney resident for the past 6 months moving from Vermilion, OH.
Edward worked as a roofer in NE and had worked for Seal-Master in Sandusky, OH.
He enjoyed drawing, spending time with his brother, and working on model cars.
Survivors include his father, Doug and Suzanne (Carter) Abel of Vermilion; mother Lorrie and Patrick Blair of Lorain; girlfriend, Lindsey Connely of Kearney, NE; daughter, Olivia Connely; son, Noah Abel; sisters, Stephanie Mazza of Norwalk and Monica Abel of Elyria; brother, Douglas Abel Jr. of Vermilion; step-brother, Scott Griffith of Lorain; step-sister, Jessica Carter of Vermilion; paternal grandmother, Barbara Daniels of Vermilion; maternal grandmother, Teresa Hairston and great grandmother, Susan Griffith of Eastlake.
He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandfather, Edward Roy Abel, maternal grandfather Gary Cruse and maternal great grandfather, Curtis Wright.
Friends may call Friday, January 14th from Noon until the time of the service at 1:00 P.M. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion Ohio. The Reverend Ronnie Sallee will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery Vermilion.
