Dottie was born October 28, 1932, in Manitowoc. She attended Holy Innocents Catholic Grade School and graduated from St. Mary's Springs Academy of Fond du Lac in 1950. She married Jack Willman on December 27, 1952. She was employed by the Manitowoc County Healthcare Center for 18 years before retiring in 1995. Dottie then moved to Ahwatukee, AZ in 1998, returning to Manitowoc in 2004.
Dottie is survived by her sons Jon (Linda Woiak) and Patrick (Jennifer) Willman of Three Lakes, WI, Stephen Willman of Hagatna, Guam and daughter Therese Willman of Manitowoc, granddaughters Melissa (Jeff) Schmitz and Meagan (Jeff) Stegemann of Manitowoc and four great grandchildren including Madeline Jacobson of Milwaukee, Jackson Schmitz, Thomas Stegemann and Lauren Stegemann all of Manitowoc.
Dottie was proceeded in death by her ex-husband John (Jack) Willman, son David Willman, her parents Edward and Frances (Madigan) Pieschel, sisters Mary Frances (Pieschel) Otto and Rita (Pieschel) Lettenberger of Manitowoc.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church – Waldo site, 1121 North 14th Street, Manitowoc with Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Doug LeCaptain.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Dottie's name to In Courage of Manitowoc, a service for Women and Children who are victims of domestic abuse and homelessness.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
Prior to her death, Dottie resided at Riverwoods Place Senior Living. The family would like to thanks the staff and residents for their care and companionship in the last months of her life.
The family would also like to give special thanks to Dottie's neighbors Noreen and Ed VanderBloomen for their compassionate care and friendship over the years.
