Mr. George Oscar Rogers, age 80, formerly of Cartersville, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at his daughter's residence in Foley, Alabama.

George was born in Marietta, Georgia on February 19, 1942, the son of the late Hubert Rogers and the late Betty Brown Massey. He served his country in the United States Navy. He worked and retired from Lockheed Martin as a flight line inspector. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Lackey Rogers; his sisters, Betty Ann McClure and Donna Munday.

He is survived by his daughters, Kelly Boddie (Clifton) of Robertsdale, AL and Tracy Marcellini (Pete) of Foley, AL; his grandchildren, Tony Marcellini (Jessica), Brent Hogan and Bethany Marcellini; his great grandchildren, Brody Schulwolf-Hogan, Taylor Hogan, Kylie Hogan, and Michael Marcellini, Jr.

Funeral service will be held at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 1:30pm with Rev. Pete Marcellini officiating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel, from 5:00pm -7:00pm.
