In his younger years, James enjoyed playing football and baseball. James started out his adult life by working at Modern Plastics of Benton Harbor, and then later on at Dana Products in Dowagiac. Most important to him was that he loved spending time with family and friends.
The family will welcome friends from noon-1 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 19, at the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, where at 1 p.m., a Native American ceremony to honor his memory will commence. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
