Barbara Ann Desdunes passed away on March 21, 2015 at the age of 78.

Survivors include a sister Nina Coudray, a brother Joseph Desdunes, nieces Sharon C. Holden, Paula Gray, Shelita Desdunes, Germaine C. Desdunes, nephews Robert Desdunes, Jr., Gregory J. Desdunes, Ronald Desdunes, Gary Desdunes, Bryant K. Desdunes, Ernest Burford, and a host of other relatives. Barbara is lovingly remembered by good friends, Barbara Wright, Dianne Lenox, Raymond Wright, and Charles. Barbara was born in New Orleans. LA on August 20, 1937. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in l955 and went on to earn a degree from Dillard University. She worked and retired as a Contracting Specialist for the United States Army Corps of Engineers in the New Orleans District Office. Barbara enjoyed helping people, spending time with family and friends, and keeping up with current events. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
