Mary Ford, 76, of Clancy, died early Monday evening at St Peter's Community Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born August 5, 1902 at St. Peter's Mission, Montana, to Mr. and Mrs. Sam Sinclair. She attended schools at St. Peter's Mission.

She married James E. Ford October 24, 1921 in Helena. He preceded her in death January 1, 1964.

Mrs. Ford worked as a housekeeper in Helena for many years.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, a brother, two sons and a daughter.

Survivors include a son, Clayton D. Ford, Salt Lake City, Utah; five daughters, Mrs. Robert (June) McNeesse, Almorgordo, New Mexico; Mrs. Nita Currier, Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Mrs. Clarence (Irene) Grande, Helena; Mrs. Arthur (Dolores) LaFountaine, Tacoma, Washington, and Mrs. Norm (Linda) Heimback, Clancy; a sister, Mrs. Wad (Elizabeth) Stansberry, Fort Shaw, Montana; 32 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
