Marion Francis "Polly" Fullerton died Monday,
February 18th, at Virtua-Marlton Hospital in Marlton, NJ at the age of 88 years, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Washington Crossing, PA, Polly has been a resident of Southampton Twp. since 1947. Polly began her years of education in a one-room schoolhouse in which her Aunt was the teacher. She was taken to school on a wooden school bus.
Being a mom and a full time homemaker was not enough activity for Polly. She was also a Girl Scout Leader for fifty-one years, a member of the Vincentown PTA, the Vincentown Women's Club, Past member of the Vincentown Emergency Squad, and a member of a group that she called "The Old Hen's Club", which still gathers once a month. She also made caps for the American Cancer Society that were donated to cancer victims.
Wife of the late Aaron Kemble and the late Lawrence Fullerton; mother of the late Aaron Kemble and the late Charles "Skeeter" Fullerton and sister of the late Dorothy Daley and Harold Hunt.
Polly is survived by her children, Joanne Sager of Pemberton Boro, Patricia Topham of Southampton, NJ, Adel Gianaris of Deltona, FL, Walter Kemble of Medford Lakes, NJ, Chris Fullerton of Southampton, NJ, Cheri Lane of Kendall Park, NJ, and Lawrence Fullerton of Bethesda, MD. Also surviving are her twenty-five grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and her brother, Donald Hunt of Cinnaminson, NJ.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 21st at 12 Noon in PERINCHIEF CHAPELS, 438 High St., Mount Holly, NJ. Interment will follow in Odd Fellow's Cemetery, Pemberton Boro, NJ. Friends may call Thursday from 10 AM to 12 PM at the funeral home.
Everyone attending either calling time or service time is encouraged to bring a written story or shared moment with Polly that may be placed into a memory book.
