She was born to Alvin E. and Patricia (Maynard) Sauer. Nancy graduated from Olympia High School, class of 1970 and Eastern Washington University, class of 1974. She went on to teach in Mirboo North, Victoria, Australia for 7 years. She was currently employed by the Washington State Liquor Control Board, Liquor Purchasing Division.
Nancy liked to laugh, read and spend time with her friends and family. She enjoyed a good game of bunco and bowled on league at Westside Lanes.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her brother John Sauer (Dana), sister, Susan Warren, aunts and uncles; Mary "Alice" Kurtenbach (Lynus), Everett Maynard (Carol), Janet Lee (Ronald), Robert Haase (Violet) and a very close group of extended family, friends and co-workers.
