Raymond J. Coenen, age 74, of 7117 Sandy Hill Ln., Two Rivers, entered into eternal life on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Aurora Medical Center, of Two Rivers. Ray was born, December 8, 1938 in Two Rivers to the late Benedict and Gladys Panure Coenen and has been alifelong area resident. He married the former Elaine Bratz, March 30, 1957 in Manitowoc. He was a mechanic for the former East Side Auto of Two Rivers, and also worked for 30 years as a metal fabricator for the Salvage Battery and Lead Co. of Mishicot. Ray took great pride plowing snow for 50 years for area businesses. He enjoyed taking rides, going out to breakfast, cutting his lawn and tending to his gardens. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife: Elaine, four daughters: Kay (Gary) Fencl, Diane (Rick) Witte, Aimee Ferguson (Keith Moseler) Andrea Wichlacz (Todd Wichlacz) four sons: Keith (Sarah) Coenen, Richard (Dawn) Coenen, Randall Coenen, and David Coenen, all of Two Rivers, 8 grandchildren: Kari (Chris) Hemba, Amanda (Ryan) Rohan, Kimberly Fencl, Andrew Coenen (Ali) Tyler Coenen, Brianna Ferguson, Ty and Dylan Wichlacz, 7 great-grandchildren: Kylee, Kortney, Kacey, Kolton, Alexis, Kaylea, and Zoe. He is further survived by two brothers: Dale Coenen of Mishicot, Francis Coenen, of Sheboygan, three sisters: Doris (Donald) Koch, of Two Rivers, Sandra Coenen and her special friend Keith, of Florida, Judith Bodwin, of Two Rivers, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Eleanor (Tom) Stehula, of Manitowoc, Erwin (Carol) Bratz, of Rockwood, and by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers: Emmett (Ruth) Coenen, Wesley (Winnie) Coenen, Ken (Jean) Coenen, one sister: Catherine Coenen, two sisters-in-law: Gail Coenen, Ruth Coenen, a brother-in-law: Bill Bodwin, and his father-in-law, and mother-in-law: Otto and Ilene Bratz.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Our Saviors Evangelical Lutheran Church in Two Rivers, with the Reverend Luke Tembreull officiating. Relatives and friends may call from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home 344 So. State St., in Mishicot. Visitation will continue after 10:00a.m. on Friday at Our Saviors Evangelical Lutheran Church, until the time of service at 11:00a.m.
