OBIT: DEPORT TIMES 27 Dec 1945, Thursday, from microfilm in the Clarksville Library: Mrs. Mary V. Carroll, 82, died Wednesday evening about 6 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. J. Weaver at Fulbright. She had been in ill health for a year. Funeral services will probably be conducted Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the Bogata Baptist Church, by the Rev. Harold Olin, pastor of the church there. Burial will be in Turner cemetery. Surviving are four sons, Bob Carroll, Fulbright; Riley, Cleave and Oscar Carroll of Chidister, Ark.; four daughters, Mrs. Howard Tatum, Camden, Ark., Mrs. H. P. Hooper, Scottsboro, Ala., Mrs. John Riggins of Arizona and Mrs. J. J. Weaver with whom she made her home; one sister, Mrs. J. J. Cline of Tennessee and one brother, Jim Patterson of Oklahoma. Named as pallbearers were Lucius Stevens, Alvis Summers, Bill Baker, Leo Ridens, Eric Gable and Oscar Legate, all of Fulbright.
