A.J. Jackson, 77, of French Camp died Saturday at Doctors Hospital, Manteca. Mr. Jackson was a native of Hastings, Okla. He lived in French Camp 35 years. He was a 35-year employee of the Tracy Defense Depot; he was a carpenter. He was an Army veteran of World War II; he belonged to the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jackson of French Camp; children Alvin Jackson of Pendleton, Ore., Patsy Orr of Stockton and Virginia Slate of Hanford; and 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
