Dixie Jo Ann Agan, age 73, of Centerville passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Wayne County Hospital in Corydon.
Dixie was born on May 3, 1949, the daughter of Harry and Murl (Bankson) Peek. She was united in marriage to Danny Lee Agan Sr. on August 20, 1966 in Centerville, Iowa. To this union, Danny Agan Jr. was born.
Left to cherish Dixie's memory are her husband of 56 years, Danny Agan Sr. of Centerville; her son, Danny Agan Jr. (Rhonda) of Bakersfield, California; five grandchildren, Cody Agan, Alex (Brooke) Grimes, Bobby (Brianna) Langston, Beau Reeves, and Shania Agan; 15 great grandchildren; her siblings, Diona Crowder, Carolyn Agan, and Sandy (Paul) Stankee; as well as several extended family members.
Dixie was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Murl Peek; her brothers, Jerry Crowder and Larry Peek; and her sisters, Peggy Coady and Sherry VanderEcken.
Per wishes, cremation has been accorded, and there will be no services held at this time.
