ARCH DALE BRITTON III

Services for Arch Dale Britton III, 56, of Gainesville are set for 2 p.m. Monday at Whaley United Methodist Church with Rev. Rob Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.
Mr. Britton died at St. Rose Dominican Hospital in Henderson, Nev.

He was born Feb. 9, 1952, to Dale and Wanda Elkins Britton. On Sept. 20, 2003, he married Lola Khan in Gainesville. Arch was a graduate of Gainesville High School and Tarleton State University with a degree in
Range Management. He was employed for 23 years by Britton Brangus Ranch, then by Cross Arms; Cooke County College Security and subsequently at WinStar Casino. He was a member of the Whitesboro Rodeo Club and the First Christian Church in Gainesville.

Survivors include his wife, Lola Britton of Gainesville; step-children, Kamran and Sabreena Khan and Nikhut Clerie; parents, Dale and Wanda Britton of Gainesville; siblings, Ann Sorrenson Spinks of Flower Mound;
niece, Janine Blakeborough of St. Louis, Mo.; nephew, Daniel Sorrenson of The Colony; and mother-in-law, Mrs. Donald Armstrong of Gainesville.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Agnes Elkins and Arch and Edith Britton; his brother, Mark Britton; and his sister, Paula Britton.

Pallbearers are Gene Baugh, Curtis Perkins, Trest West, Tony Plumlee, Tim Plumlee, and Nelson Newton. No visitation is planned.
