"Mary A. Vandruff, daughter of Joseph and Eliza Eberhart Vandruff was born near Rock Island, Illinois, March 28, 1857, and died at her home in Oskaloosa, Kansas, March 23, 1936, aged nearly 79 years.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Methodist Ladies Aid Society of Oskaloosa, where she has lived continuously. On March 18, 1874, she was united in marriage to Wilbur F. Leech, son of Joshua and Sarah Leech, and to this union were born seven children.
Surviving her are: her daughter, Mrs. Alma Mayer and her son, Ray Leech of the home; her grandchildren, Amos, Jr., Billy, Jeannette and Ruth Leech, children of the late Amos H. Leech, her son; Mary Mayer, her daughter; also two brothers, Grant Vandruff, of Salina and James W. Vandruff of Kansas City, Mo., and numerous nephews and nieces.:
