THE KANSAS CITY TIMES, Kansas City Missouri, 18 February 1950, p. 17, column 3, "Riney—Benjamin Franklin Riney, 89, of 5909 Kensington, died yesterday at the home. He was born in Shelbina, Mo., and moved to Kansas City about eighty years ago. He was a retired employee of the Cudahy Packing company. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Clara Frances Riney of the home, and a brother, Will Riney, Houston, Tex."
