Jane Wyatt (Workman) Allen passed away in her home on December 31,2022, with her loving husband, Benny Allen, and family by her side. She was 79 years old.

Jane was born on March 19, 1943 to the late Ray Owen Workman and Lou Ellen Workman in the same home on Levy Road in Bourbon County where she took her last breath.

She graduated from Bourbon County High School in 1961. Then, immediately began her 41 year career with Square D Company in Lexington, KY. Jane was a hard worker and refused to sit back and relax. She spent her retirement years working at Cracker Barrel and JC Penney where she made many good friends.

Jane is survived by her husband of 51 years, Benny Allen; her son Joe Mastin, Jr. of Lafayette, Georgia; her daughter Monica Allen of Bourbon County; grandchildren: Breanna (John) Rhodes of Menifee County, Preston Crump (Allyson Centers) of Fayette County, and Riley Crump (Kris Dunn) of Bourbon County; great-granddaughter Abigail Rhodes; grand-dogs: Luke, Tate, Janice, Ellie, Pickle, Marshall, Cobie, and Sophie; sister-in-law Mae Adkins, sister-in-law Barbara (David) Combs; longtime friends: Patty Carpenter, Jane Mogge, and the "Penney Girls" - Marilyn Meeks, Bernice Abney, and Linda Rogers; and many nieces and nephews.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Phyllis Isaac, Marilyn Biddle, and Maureen Razor; brother Billy Workman; and daughter-in-law Karen Davis.

Jane spent her life doing the things she loved: shopping, reading, spending time with friends, and traveling, but her family brought her the greatest joy in life. She enjoyed 51 years of marriage to Benny; they were wed on December 31, 1971. She loved spending time with her son and her daughter, but more than anything else, she cherished her "grandbabies". Every person she talked to heard endless stories about Breanna, Preston and Riley. She was so proud of their accomplishments. They were her "pride and joy".

"Ma Jane" will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure to know her. But she lived her life well and left an enduring love and a treasure trove of memories and stories that won't be forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals in Mt. Sterling, KY. Friends and family can visit from 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 5, 2023.

Pallbearers will be: Breanna Rhodes, John Rhodes, Preston Crump, Allyson Centers, Riley Crump, and Kris Dunn. Honorary pallbearers will be: David Combs, Michael Brown, Landon Brown, Finnlee Brown, Patty Carpenter, Jane Mogge, Marilyn Meeks, Bernice Abney, Linda Rogers, Shella Manns, Alyssa Hubert, and Abigail Rhodes.

The family wishes to express their sincerest gratitude to the wonderful hospice staff at Bluegrass Care Navigators.
