Shirley "Dearie" Shaner Cunningham, 85, died Jan. 3 at Hospice Savannah. She was born in Savannah, where she lived for 59 years. She was active with the Savannah Art Association, Ships of the Sea Museum, Owens-Thomas House, Junior League of Savannah and was a founding member of Savannah Children's Theatre. She was a communicant of Christ Church.
