Phyllis Comley Goshorn Albright, 96, of Shippensburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 4, 2023, at the Shook Home, Chambersburg. She is rejoicing and celebrating!

She was born on March 6, 1926, in Huntington, PA, the daughter of the late James and Grace (Rohland) Comley. She was a graduate of the Huntington High School, Class of 1943.

Phyllis worked at Letterkenny Army Depot, the former Carothers Market and A&P Grocery Store.

She was an active member of the Shippensburg Church of God where she sang in the choir and served as a Sunday School teacher for over thirty years.

She loved to travel the world going to places such as Italy, Greece, Egypt, Lebanon, Cypress, Israel, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, and many other places. She was a snow bird and traveled to Florida for the winters. She enjoyed square dancing and spent countless hours volunteering at the Chambersburg Hospital and Meals on Wheels. She had a love of people and enjoyed visiting nursing homes and talking with others. She loved to work with flowers and gardening. She always kept herself busy in her later years at the Episcopal Home, Elmcroft Home and The Shook Home where she enjoyed putting puzzles together and the caregivers and those who came to visit helped her. She kept her mind busy by also doing word finds, crossword puzzles and played cards. She loved to read and continued to learn new things until she passed.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Goshorn and wife Doris (Horn) of Shippensburg, Gerald Goshorn and wife Maryann (Coldsmith) of Lewisberry; six grandchildren, Diane Goshorn Wenger and husband Bradley, Cheryl Goshorn Collingsworth and husband William, Michelle Goshorn Shank and husband Chet, Patricia Goshorn McClintock and husband Daniel, Christine Goshorn Diehl and husband Timothy, and Bradley Goshorn; twelve great-grandchildren, Joshua Diehl and wife Emalie, Trent Wenger and wife Alexis, Jenell Collingsworth Vogelsong and husband Austin, Ellen Diehl Martin and husband Cody, Jessica Goshorn, Gretchen Diehl Horrocks and husband Justin, Chase Diehl, Wade Shank, Kara Collingsworth, Colin Goshorn, Cody McClintock, and Hayden McClintock; and six great-great-grandchildren, Isla Diehl, Leeland Martin, Blakely Wenger, Tenley Diehl, Oliver Horrocks, and Henry Martin.
