Together again

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Agnes Ellen Green, age 90, left her earthly home on August 20, 2021, peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Agnes was born November 20, 1930 to Robert H. and Pearl Daniels, in Kellerton, Iowa. She spent her years growing up in lowa, California and Idaho. It was in Idaho that she met her eternal companion, Elmo Wendell Green. They were married February 14, 1948 in Filer, Idaho and were later sealed in the Salt Lake City, Utah temple.

Agnes dedicated her life to her family and to the Savior. She served in many capacities throughout her life in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her favorite calling was that of mother, wife and grandmother. She served her family continually through her amazing endless love and care that she gave each and everyone. Her talent for cooking could not be matched. She loved making us all feel comfortable around a table full of home cooked meals. She loved planning, preparing and participating in all family activities and holidays. Right up to the end she always made sure she somehow could contribute. Agnes with her husband ran a mobile home community in Clearfield, Utah, and together owned and operated a couple of service stations in Nevada and Utah.

Agnes and Wendell raised four wonderful children with much love and patience. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmo Wendell Green, her daughter Lura (Lollie) Pearl Green, her son Gary Dean Green, her parents and 9 siblings.

She is survived by her sons Wendell (Jan) Green and Ronald (Rachel) Green, nine grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her.

The viewing will be held on Saturday, August 28th from 1:00 -1:45 p.m. at the Parkes Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly RD. A graveside service will be held August 28, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Park, 2296 Kimberly Rd, Twin Falls, Idaho. The service will begin at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers Agnes would love for you to enjoy a nice family meal around your tables.

The family of Agnes would like to thank the staff at Summit Home, Mobile Physicians, and Premier Funeral Service for all they did to take care of mom, and the rest of us.
