She also had one brother, and one sister of California.
Hundreds of friends and family members from across the country came to her memorial service, including her dear Mother. It was a lovely and beautiful service. Her casket was draped with beautiful roses, while in her hands three rosed she held to, representing her husband (Larry Poff) and two sons.
Alice loved arts and crafts, sewing, netting, cooking, and the Holidays. She was my sister in law, my brother's wife.
And each year as I hang ornaments upon my Christmas tree, I shall smile for she made so many of them through the years for herself and me.
I was asked by my brother to speak and sing at her memorial, I did so and was honored.
I miss her bright blue eyes always glowed with kindness. A giver, never a taker she indeed was. And what a laugh. And how she loved her husband Larry so deeply. He could walk into a room and her eyes would light up and her smile filled her face.
At the request of her husband and sons, she was cremated and her ashes kept with a family member.
She went to sleep one evening and during the night, Jesus took her home.
She is remembered and loved to this day by us all.
God Bless you dear lady eternally.
