13 Jan 1972: Georgie G. Boyer, Quentin, died early this morning in the Lebanon Valley General Hospital. She was 78. She was born in Lebanon County. Her husband William P. Boyer died Dec. 4, 1962. She was a daughter of the late John and Anna Mary Arnold Grimes. She was a member of Cornwall United Methodist Church; the auxiliary of the Quentin Fire Co.; the Ladies Bible Class of the Sunday school; the Women's Society of Christian Service of the church. Surviving are three sons: G. Russel, Phoenix, Az.; William E., Harrisburg; Carl E., Rexmont; daughters: May, widow of George Doll, Cornwall; Edna, wife of John Starner, Lebanon RD 5; Margaret L., wife of Lloyd R. Early, Lebanon RD 4; 19 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Rismiller, Malvern, Mrs. May Brenner, Lebanon; Erma, widow of Raymond Kleinfelter, Lebanon, and a brother, Earl Grimes, Lebanon RD 5.

Services were held in the Taylor-Ruffner Funeral Home this afternoon for Mrs. Georgie G. Boyer, widow of William P. Boyer, of Quentin.

The Rev. Harold E. Bashore, pastor of the Cornwall United Methodist Church and the Rev. Thomas G. Young, a friend of the family, were in charge.

Interment was made in the Cornwall Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were: William and Robert Doll, William, Edward and Michael Boyer and Jeffery Starner.
