• Levi D. CONNER (born 1833-1834 to Wilson J. W. CONNER & Martha W. B. MOULTRIE) &
• Georgia S. FREEMAN (her parents are unknown).
Lonnie's parents had married in adjacent Effingham County in 1860.
Lonnie CONNER was the husband of Emeline C. HODGES (the daughter of Thomas Marion HODGES & Julia Jane COLSON); his wife predeceased him and her parents - by 1920 all four of them were buried in this cemetery.
Death Certificate data: Lonza A. CONNER, retired, and his brother John Wilson CONNER, a merchant, died in Waycross, Ware County, Georgia, on successive days - the 8th and 7th of March, 1920, of pneumonia and angina, respectively. The informant for each death certificate was John Wilson CONNER's widow, Mrs. Abbie G. [GILL*] CONNER (or CONNOR). The three had resided at 122 Thomas Street in Waycross, and the brothers were attended by Dr. Algernon C. COLSON of Waycross. Abbie GILL CONNER indicated that each brother was born in Screven County to "Levy Conner" & "Georgia Stephens." The maiden name of their mother is indicated as "Stephens," [their mother may have had a middle name of Stephens, or may have married a STEPHENS after Levi D. CONNER died in 1887 - additionally, two of Levi D. CONNER's siblings married STEPHENS siblings]. The place of burial for each brother is indicated to be Newington, Ga. According to the widow of the deceased, John Wilson CONNER was born the 28th of June of 1864 in Screven County.
*A big thank you to contributor Becky, for sharing her death certificate research for the brothers, and particularly for the maiden name of John Wilson CONNER's widow.
Note: John Wilson CONNER had other brothers, including Gasua Delion CONNER, born about 1874; John Wilson CONNER also had a son, Levie Delion CONNER, born 1910. Almost undoubtedly, their father's full name was Levi D'Lyon CONNER, a namesake of Levi Sheftall D'LYON, 1791-1863, a prominent Savannah attorney and public servant, who practiced law throughout the general area. The sisters of these brothers include Georgia P. CONNER WILSON.

Gravesite Details
An infant daughter of J. W. & A. G. CONNER, Lovis Leona CONNER, is also buried in this cemetery, and John Wilson CONNER is likely buried in one of the unmarked graves near that infant's grave.
