Andrew "Andy" Delmar Haggard was the son of Jonathan and Margaret McKelvey Haggard. He was born at Sarcoxie, Missouri. Andy married Ada May Perkinson July 10, 1901 in St. Charles,MO. They were living in Peoria, Illinois when their son William Franklin "Frankie" was born. Ada died in 1909. She is buried in the Perkinson Cemetery in St. Charles Co. Missouri. Andy and his son came back to family around Carthage, Mo. They remained in the area the rest of their lives. Andy died at the Jasper Co. County Farm on July 29, 1938. He was buried in the Curtis Cemetery west of Carthage. Curtis Cemetery is in the same neighborhood that Andy owned a home.
