Juan (aka's Johnny, Cholo, John Loc, Johnny Clavo and Jonny Long Sleeves) was born in Albuquerque to Teresa (Rodriguez) and Panfilo Aguilar. Known by his family as the "Mayor of the South Valley".

Juan would talk and make friends with everyone he met. He was one of the most generous men, and always willing to help anyone. Reminiscing about his childhood in the south valley and the many stories he had with his friends. Known for his chef skills of tortilla and ketchup that he would make nieces and nephews. Juan was an avid hat collector.

Juan is preceded in death by his father, Panfilo Aguilar, almost six years ago to the day, in 2017.

He is survived by his wife, Letica (Garcia); sons, Devan and Diego; his mother, Teresa (Rodriguez); brother, Victor Aguilar; sisters, Tere Armijo (husband Deandre) and Estella Miller (husband Michael); nieces, Kathleen Armijo (Phil), Alexandria Aguilar, and La Dawna Pea (Brandon); nephews, Adrian Armijo, Andrew Armijo, Victor Angelo Aguilar (Vanessa); mother-in-law, Toni Davila; in-laws, Ericka and Paul Alfaro, Raquel Garcia, Sean, Mariah Garcia-Ramirez, and Eliza Ramirez; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Pallbearers were: Victor Aguilar, Deandre Armijo, Michael Miller, Phil Lewis, Andrew Armijo, Adrian Armijo, and Paul Alfaro.
Honorary Pallbearers were: Jeff Barkley, Steve Mirabal, Javier Mota, Dominic Chavez, Javier Gutierrez, Robert Yanez, Byron Butcher, Joseph Sanchez, and Emmanuel Martinez.

He was loved by many and will be missed by all. He was Juan in a million!!!!!
