Death date approx. There is no trace of him after 1130. He may have died on crusade in The Holy Land.

Hugh I firstly married Constance of France in 1094. They had a son called Manasses, who died young (born c1098 - death c1102). Constance divorced Hugh in 1104.

Hugh's second marriage was abt 1127 to Isabella of Bourgogne (Burgundy) Countess of Champagne (1086–) - daughter of Stephen I of Bourgogne. Hugh and Isabella had a son : Eudes (Odo) I (b. c1128), who married to Sibylle de La Ferte-sur-L'Aube and they had two sons.
