Buford Ray Miller, 78 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, January 18th, 2023, at Limestone Nursing and Rehab. Mr. Miller was born on March 21st, 1944, to Buford L. Miller and Costella Barnes Miller.
Mr. Miller is survived by his sons Billy Miller (Marian) and Spence Miller (Teresa); daughters Kimberly Blackwood (John) and Mandi Miller; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother Wayne Miller (Karen); sister Wanda Butler (Danny); a host of nieces and nephews; and dear friends Christie and Curtis Winders.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Larry Miller and Bobby Miller; and sisters Faye Lozada and Edith Waddell.
Funeral services for Mr. Miller will be Saturday, January 21st, 2023, at 1:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Danny Butler officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 20th from 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pettusville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brett Haggermaker, Dylan Johnson, Brandon Harrell, Jeremy Blizzard, Drew Odgen, and Jesse Harbin. Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Hagood, Greg Miller, Chad Miller, Todd Miller, Kevin Miller, Robby Miller, and Will Greuling.
