Mrs. Chlotiel Hecox

WAKARUSA - Funeral services for Mrs. Chlotiel Hecox, 74, who died Sunday in the Golden Age Manor in Mishawaka, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Lienhart Funeral Home here, where friends are being received. Rev. Richard Neilsen, pastor of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Elkhart, will officiate. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery, instead of Rest Haven Cemetery as previously announced.

Born in Portsmouth, Ohio, April 21, 1897, she was a school teacher with the Urbana, Ohio School system, retiring in 1963, when she moved to Rockford, Ill. She was a member of the State St. Baptist Church of Rockford and a member of the Order of Eastern Star of Landowne, Pa. Sruviving[sic] are a son, George E. of Mishawaka; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister.
