El Ranchito, TX - Mr. Jose Aguirre, Jr., 67, of El Ranchito was called home by the Lord on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. He was born in Brownsville, TX on April 23, 1955 to Jose Aguirre, Sr. and Felipa Rivera Aguirre. Both parents precede him in death. Jose is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Adelaida Aguirre; sister, Alma Rosa Aguirre (Frank Rodriguez); brothers, Juan Angel Aguirre (Andrea), Victor Aguirre (Martha); sisters-in-law, Oralia Loya and Josefina Marroquin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a holy rosary to be prayed by Msgr. Pedro Briseño at 7:00 PM at Rudy Garza Funeral Home in Harlingen. Funeral services will conclude after visitation. As per Mr. Aguirre's wishes, he will be cremated.
