Milroy Norbert Kamke, 94, of Manitowoc passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Aurora Memorial Medical Center in Two Rivers.

Milroy was born on November 22, 1928 to Elmer and Leona (Zimmer) Kamke in Wayside. Milroy served his country in the United States Army. He married Carol Soucek, she preceded him in death.

Milroy began as a farmer, then went to work for Northern Produce Cheese Factory, and then worked 27 years for the Manitowoc Company until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, where he took pride in doing the custodial work.

Milroy is survived by his children: Scott (Tracy Stenzel) Kamke, Brian Kamke, and Linda (Lenny) Schuh; daughter-in-law: Marlene Hartlich; grandchildren: Amanda Matula, Ashley Fowler, Terry (fiancé Khrissy) Hartlich, Nicholas Hartlich, Dawn (Gene) Reilly, Hanna Stenzel, and Josie Stenzel; granddaughter-in-law: Lori Siebert; great-grandchildren: Cody (Alex) Brouchoud, Keegan (Monica) Blish, Caleb Blish, Emily Matula, Nora Matula, Haley Hartlich, Austin Hartlich, Scarlet, Will, Christian, Brandon, and Aaron; and great-great grandchildren: Kayden, Khloe, Andy, and Lia; and sister: Donna Nagel and special friend: Harry Bratz. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Milroy was preceded in death by his parents: Elmer and Leona Kamke; wife: Carol Kamke; son: Joe Hartlich; grandson: Jeff Brouchoud; and brother-in-law: Ron Nagel.

A funeral service to celebrate Milroy's life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1712 Menasha Ave., with Rev. Zachary DeArmond officiating. Military Honors will immediately follow the service. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Milroy will be laid to rest at Knollwood Memorial Park.
