Hershel A. Pierce, age 89, of Okolona, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 19, 2023. Mr. Pierce was born in Glasgow, KY on January 16, 1934 to the late Raymond Ellis Pierce and Edna Gooden Pierce.
He retired from General Electric, served in the United States Army and was a member of the NRA.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 48 years, Betty Pierce; son, Hershel Steve Pierce (Melanie); 2 grandchildren; several great- grandchildren; siblings, Louise Firkins, Mary Helen and Irene and a host of other dear family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 . Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Burial and military honors performed by the United States Army & rifle detail by VFW Post 1170 will be held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central (2501 N. Dixie Blvd., Radcliff, KY
